I made a beaded bracelet today, but forgot to take a picture before I mailed it. I will ask my sister to take one. This is number 256.

A face mosaic I started today. There are a lot of beads on this one, and a lot of tiny glass bits too.
A new t shirt quilt, finished today. This is 255.
This is 254 items made this year, and posted. A few were given away before I remembered to post, so we won’t count them. This is the first hat I made from this tapestry style yarn. I used the remains to make the hat below, experimenting.
Apparently, you’re supposed to taper the hat gradually.
This is a banner for Beckie. We went there today and carved pumpkins with the kids.

The face with a colorwash background. I did try to keep it one color. But I have all these paints…
Step 3: The face, gessoed. I ran out of gesso, and sealed the rest with gel medium.
Next step is a colorwash background. Then I’ll do a transfer with water soluble oil pastels. Then maybe some collaging.
Felt balls, the first ones I’ve made. I took a small ball of yarn, and made a blanket of fleece to wrap it. Then I stuck the ball into a knee hi stocking, and tied between each one. Then I washed in hot water, and voila! This is 251.
