These are some samples of marbleizing.
I tested the paints to be sure they floated. Most of the metallics wouldn’t float, even though we added lots of colorless extender to lighten them, but some of the silver shows in the purple one.

We had a marblizing fabric class tonight. I made a few test pieces, will show you tomorrow. It was fun. You should see the students’ pieces.
I have just watched a 3 hour lesson on deconstructed screen printing. There is a whole lot of fun possible, that I have not tried yet. Oh my.
This is the last sight of our booth at Harvest of the Arts. We were the last ones to leave. Many things have been packed up already, and our neighbors have gone.
