It’s done, and entered in the special exhibits category of International  Quilt Festival. sure hope it gets in.

Spring Peepers

I have been hard at work making a new Springtime quilt. It features Spring Peepers, the lovely, loud chirpy frogs that sing continuosly all night. We are not yet hearing them, but will before long. It’s a deafening serenade for a brief time each year.

This handwoven mask was made in Panama by Kuna people. It reminded my son of our first dog, Buddy, so he got it for me. Now he guards the kitchen.

Over the last couple years I have embroidered many fairy tale mash-ups . Finally, I made them into pillows. Some of them still need pillow forms, but I feel so good about finishing, I just had to show you. Now I need a good price on pillow forms…
