I made these for a scientist’s baby shower.

This one I started on the getaway, and finished today. It’s another variation of the bag with Bunnies. An outside front pocket has rickrack trim. Inside are several more pockets. It’s about 10″ wide and 12″ tall.

This is what I made! Got lots done.
Baby jacket and pants, baby pants and bibs, baby dress , and messenger bag.

It took a long time to decide what to do to these onesies. I was going to tie dye them, but didn’t really feel like doing it. So I did some freemotion stitching instead. One of the pictures is very blurry, sorry.

It’s difficult to take a picture of so large a quilt. It’s a California King size, and I can’t step back enough from the bed to get a good angle. And bedrooms don’t have photo lighting. So I had to enhance the color. Because of my limitations, it’s too bright, not exactly realistic color. But it’s nice in person, very rich batik fabrics.

This has been a productive week. I made a large lap quilt from the leftover triangles of the wedding quilt. And my granddaughters finished quilt top yielded scraps for 2 baby quilts, also finished tops.
And today I made a dozen mixed media Valentines. Fun.
